The Cathedral Eye Clinic has a team of consultant ophthalmologists providing specialist expertise in laser and refractive surgery, cataract surgery, anterior segment surgery, medical and surgical retina and oculoplastic surgery.
Specialising in ocular surface reconstruction, laser refractive surgery, cataract and other intra-ocular eye surgery. Professor Moore has personally completed over 13,000 treatments.
Mr Best is currently a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at the Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast and Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Queen’s University Belfast.

Sri is a Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon with a specialist interest in oculoplastic, lacrimal and orbital disorders. He is based at the Royal Victoria Hospital.
In 2013 Colin was appointed Professor of Ophthalmology in the University of Liverpool and Honorary Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon in St. Paul’s Eye Unit, Royal Liverpool University Hospital with a clinical and surgical practice in glaucoma, cornea, genetics and general ophthalmology.
Ms Tanya Moutray has been a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Belfast Trust since 2012. She obtained her Medical degree from Queens University, Belfast, completed her general Ophthalmology training in Belfast and subspeciality training in Medical Retina in the Bristol Eye Hospital.

Claire studied Optometry at the University of Ulster, Coleraine and completed her pre-registration year at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London in 2009. She has achieved a Post-grad Diploma in Refractive and Cataract Surgery and a Professional Certificate in Medical Retina
Rachel is a dedicated member of our optometric team, working with our patients pre and post op. Rachel contributes greatly to a high quality service for all of our patients.
Anita qualified as an Orthoptist from the Birmingham and Midland Eye Hospital, West Midlands in 1988. She currently practices in The Mater Hospital, Belfast and joined the eye team in Cathedral Eye clinic in 2009.
